Possible reason and how to solve it:

It is because the black clip was not fully contacted with the battery terminals, please re-clamp the clip.

Both the positive and negative clamps are composed of two mutually insulated contacts (see Figure 1). When testing, ensure that each contact is in good contact and insulated from each other.
