This article is going to have two parts on how to use Foxwell NT510 scanner to diagnose a brand new 2019 Honda CRV and an older 2013 Honda Ridgeline. As known, nt530 scanner replaces nt510 now.
Video demo first:
Part 1: Foxwell NT510 diagnose new 2019 Honda CRV successfully
Car model and year: 2019 Honda CRV
Honda scan tool: Foxwell NT510 (Foxwell NT530 replaces it now)
Via OBD : Plug the 16pin cable to the 16pin port of Honda CRV, the machine will boot on, the machine doesn’t come with battery.
I like the screen, it is color, it really make Foxwell NT510 a difference.
What to do:
Plug it to the 16pin port, the machine automatically boot up.
Enter”Honda”, then “USA” country, then “Auto scan”

Part 2: Foxwell NT510 troubleshoot older 2013 Honda Ridgeline transmission problem successfully.
I hit a cardboard box and once I did that somehow my drive light blinks off and on and my truck every so often. It seems like the transmissions okay, but I am really concerned because I don’t know what actually might be going on. So I used Foxwell NT510 scanner to do a real test to see what a heck might be happening.
What to do:
-> Hook Foxwell NT510 scanner up to the Honda Ridgeline via the 16pin cable.
-> Auto scan
-> Read codes (It makes foxwell difference from other scanner, it does not only give you a code number, but also tells you a lot more about that code.)
-> Live data
